The challenging task in 3D topography measurement is to accurately measure the surface of various high-reflective parts. Due to the characteristics of materials, the high-reflective objects have many problems such as high-light reflection and high-light ratio on the surface, resulting in over-exposure of the high-reflective areas in the whole image, underexposure of other areas, degradation of image appearance and loss of texture details. When the traditional structured light method is used for measurement, large data holes appear in the reconstruction results. The most commonly used method for 3D measurement of highly reflective surfaces is usually called High-Dynamic Range (HDR) technology.
